First of all - ignore the haters, you have given him too much attention. We are here to see what product is better, or better value for money. I own the PB2000 pro and I'm pretty disappointed. The SVS can shake the room, and make everything vibrate, but you can not feel the chest pounding at all. After recently viewing a Tool live concert, I now know what chest pounding bass should feel like with every drum kick, but the SVS has none. Another problem with the SVS is a loud port noise at high volume levels, it just doesn't sound good at high levels.

I almost purchased the mrx540 as it’s just for my home gym, but was considered with fan noise. Then I was considering the avm70 as there are no internal fans (that I’m aware of) , but then I needed an amp etc,so I decided to go with a Denon x1800h . I’m sure I’m going to regret it , as I love the looks of the new Anthem receivers , pre pros etc . I do have an avm60 and the 525 amplifier upstairs ,but it’s a home theatre setting ,not four stereo speakers in a gym . It’s obviously hard to critique sound on an iPad Pro, but I thought the music sounded superior on the Anthem . Anyways best of luck with your channel and keep up the good work. Update , my bad I thought the blue was the Anthem . Not referring to the base but the sound was better overall for me with blue

Anthem tech support says the very first thing you do before launching ARC is to do a quick measure and calibrate your subs . . . Must have missed that part, huh?

how does the reserve lineup compare to arendal's?

I had a Marantz pre pro and their 5 channel amp . Other than having to factory reset it several times the first couple years it worked great . I finally couldn’t take looking at it anymore as I hate those portholes and replaced it with an Anthem AVM60 pre pro . It’s worked flawlessly and I love the look of a big brick of black brushed aluminum. I was disappointed when I first seen Anthems new line up , but it’s really growing on me the more I watch these videos

Been looking forward to this video since you purchased the Legacy speakers. I am sure you will do another one on them. Please consider reviewing the entire system,side and rear speakers as well. I love my music but my family and I are big time home theater enthusiasts so you total review of your system is much appreciated. Once again congratulations on your purchase!

Compared to ANY SVS speaker, that finish looks like a used 20 year old speaker. Unreal

I have an Emotiva XMC-2 and it sounds phenomenal!! I had some hiccups with input switching after I first got it, but that all seems to have been addressed by firmware updates. I watched Mad Max Fury Road for the first time last night and was absolutely blown away!!

I have an anthem 1140 along with left / right paradigm founder 120s and a 90 c center channel. Would this A11 be a great addition or should I go with an anthem str or anthem power amp. My founder 120s have a built in 1,000 watt amp so technically I would just be using the amp for the tweeter and mid range. Or should I invest my money into something else to get better sound. I mainly listen to two channel music and watch movies and sports. Thanks much

I picked up these new pairs, and the center, with the SB-1000 pro and the sound stage upgrade to replace my old PSBs, was evolutionary to my ears.

I just bought a couple of PSA 18 inch subwoofers and although I like the way they look the wife isn’t too keen for them. However, that Tonewinner 18 is just about the ugliest thing 1986 has thrown up.

Being that Focal gets mentioned when you talk about form factor, would enjoy a review comparing the sound of this Ultra bookshelf to to the Focal. Currently listening to bookshelves with soft domes and quite pleased with what i'm hearing.😉

Please compare the previous Ultra Bookshelf to the current offering. I run four of the original Ultra’s in my music system. Would like to see if there is really a big performance difference.

sorry bro, but not your best review… calling attention to any bookshelf bass needing a sub is not reviewing a bookshelf properly. All bookshelf need subs for full range richness. A more accurate review is pointing out how low they will go before reaching distortion point, the focus of a bookshelf review is on how well its highs and mids perform for clarity and imaging

The emphasis on appearance by young philes is astonishing. Spirit of the age. These speakers are fatiguing.

Has anyone ordered through them and got half your order from one freight company and half from another? They are stating they sometimes ship different parts of the couch from different locations at different times. Just want to know if anyone has had that experience with them or something similar. Great setup but rid yourself of the rattling as that would drive me crazy. LOL I have the Focus's and prefer two channel playback with fewer room obstacles but love the Aeris speakers as they are on another level entirely....

Okay I see Emotiva has good quality for less money, as for you saying that the Emotiva sounded louder! I have the answer, the Emotiva's signal chain has less clutter. Meaning that it's processing it faster and with less circuitry making the signal stronger thus it will make it louder, I notice this with bluetoothing audio or video the signal is weaker, I know it's not the same thing but I haope your getting my point, the Emotiva just has a little less circuitry than the Anthem. great video by the way. Looking like I will buy Emotiva's new processor
